Smell of the aroma that coffee produces.
All coffee beans smell differently. Have you ever gone into a coffee shop and this aroma hits you so strongly and you say to yourself. Wow, that smells awesome. I could go for some coffee. Well, that happens to me everytime I walk into a coffee shop whether it be a local one or popular one. Next time you are going to a coffee shop notice the smell when you walk in. Does it smell differently than others?
Taste the fresh brew coffee
Some coffee can just have a bitter taste, almost burnt taste. Others have a smooth taste that is not too strong. Does brewing really have an impact on how your coffee tastes? Absolutely! If there is not enough water and lots of coffee. It will taste very strong. If there is not enough coffee with lots of water, it will taste weak. Most recommendations are 2 Tablespoons of coffee to 8 ounces of water. If you want it stronger at more coffee.
With cream or without cream
I like mine either way. It depends on the mood I am in and if I want to robust taste or a creamy taste with my coffee. Most restaurants offer half and half for creamer not the flavored creamer you can buy in the store. One particular restaurant I got coffee from with cream and sugar tasted like there was a flavor added. Next time I will ask for it on the side. The coffee was also not hot at all, which is fine with me. I can just reheat it. But, I am not everyone, someone may not like it with that temperature. You want it nice and hot and to taste good.
Flavor or No Flavor
I personally like flavor added to anything not just my coffee. I like most all flavors. I don’t personally like the sugar free flavors because it gives an artificial taste to it, but that is just my opinion. My top 3 choices would be chocolate, caramel, and Irish cream. Maybe even together they would be good. Have not try those 3 together.
More types of coffee the better
I like choices. I like having choices to choose from. Somedays I like cold brew other days I want a hot coffee plain nothing else added. Most days I will drink it with a little bit of creamer or have a Capuchino. The more options the merrier things are.
